VNA Health at Home
community programs encompass the community education and outreach aspect
of our mission of promoting health throughout Litchfield and New Haven
counties. Our programs include:
Flu Clinics: Scheduled at local businesses and at our
Watertown, CT office.
Blood Pressure Clinics, Wellness Clinics, Cholesterol
Screenings, Glucose Screenings, and Body Fat Screenings:
Scheduled at local businesses, senior centers, and assisted
living residences.
Who is most at risk for the
flu?
Pregnant women.
People who live with
or care for children younger than 6 months of age.
Health Care and
Emergency Services Personnel.
Persons between the
ages of 6 months and 24 years old.
People ages 25 through
64 with chronic disorders or compromised immune systems.
AnnMarie
Garrison, President, and Jane Ambrozaitis, Clinical Manager,
were guests on Skye Cable XIII's Community Access program.
With Tom Brophy as their host, they provided listeners with
information about our Telehealth program.
BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
Once again, VNA Health at Home
hosted a Bereavement Support Group to help those experiencing the loss of a loved one. The four-week session
began on Wednesday, April 27th at our Watertown office.
